There are areas in Italy that hide a story made of traditions, heritages of experience handed down from generation to generation. Specialized production chains that over time have become essential points of reference for whoever in the world is looking for a product of excellence.

When it comes to hosiery, the Brescia district has seen the best companies in the sector develop around Lake Garda since the post-war years.

And it was in this context that our founder, Loris Stori, founded his company in 1949, immediately focusing on one goal: quality.

Quality is a fundamental prerogative for Story Loris.
It is an aspect that still characterizes every delicate craftsmanship step of its production.

Initially founded as a symbol of men's hosiery, the company expanded its production to include baby and children's socks in the early years of its activity and then completed the range with women's collections, becoming a leader in luxury hosiery.

In addition, underwear, sleepwear and beachwear collections for kids 0-16 years were launched on the market under the Story Loris and La Perla brands. Recently, the company also created Per Te - Una Storia Italiana collection dedicated to kids' clothing.

Know-how handed down from generation to generation

The expert hands of technicians manage the rhythms of Bentley's looms, allowing the diameter of the ankle to be shaped without tightening: important details especially in the small models designed for babies. The production chain is the result of a precious alchemy that blends tradition and new technologies. Technicians optimise the complex steps of the most modern machinery so that the sock comes out finished, or control the slow flow of very fine threads, such as those used to make silk and chiffon socks.

"Gloves for your feet", as the founder used to say. Only through careful selection of the finest raw materials we can obtain innovative and qualitatively impeccable collections.

Embroidery is an ancient art, handed down from generation to generation. For Story Loris it is an extremely important stage of the process, still totally handmade by experienced embroiderers.
